Carton Strapping

Polypropylene (PP) strapping is an economical packaging solution designed for light to medium duty unitizing, palletizing and bundling. Polypropylene is embossed to achieve efficient seal joints and superior split resistance. Good quality strapping offers higher elongation and improved elongation recovery properties to ensure secure packaging for delivery and storage. Polypropylene strapping is wound onto either a cardboard on a plastic core for easy use for semi-automatic machines, or hand use with a dispenser. Perfect for stabilizing loads to a pallet and ensuring that a box stays closed.

Polyester (PET) is one of the strongest plastic strapping, serves as viable alternative to steel strapping in the brick, lumber and textile industries. Polyester provides excellent retained tension to stay tight on rigid loads. Its excellent recovery properties help a load absorb impact without strap breakage. PET must stay tight on loads that settle, shrink or expand, Polyester strapping will withstand higher tensioning than other plastic, strapping - upto 25% higher, with equivalent break strengths. It is light weight, cannot be affected by corrosion or rust and is therefore the ideal material to replace steel strap.

Galvanized metal strapping seals easily slide over strapping and can be sealed with either a tension and sealer or a combination tool. To properly grip either heavy duty goods to polyester (PET) strapping always use seals with serrated inside threads.
