Summary Minimize

Dispatch

Dispatching is the process of delivering the products to the customers using various modes of transport such as road, rail, air and sea.

Costing

Costing is the system of computing cost of production or of running a business, by allocating expenditure to various stages of production or to different operations of a firm. Costing is the deciding factor of the prices and the important thing to be followed in all important stages like purchase, production, marketing, sales, etc. The cost calculation in the textile industry is still almost exclusively based on the production cost data.

Containerization

Containerization is a system of intermodal freight cargo transport, using standard ISO containers (known as shipping containers or isotainers) that can be loaded and sealed intact onto container ships, railroad cars, planes, and trucks. The introduction of containers resulted in vast improvements in port handling efficiency, thus lowering costs and helping lower freight charges and, in turn, boosting trade flows.
