1. Spindle speed

 4. Traveler weight
 5. Relative humidity

Yarn quality assessment

1. Yarn count and its variation
 2. Twist and its variation
 3. Evenness CV% or U%
 4. Strength and its variation(csp of yarn)
 5. Imperfections

Causes of end breakage/End down:

If spinning tension is greater than yarn strength in the Ring frame, then end breakage is occurred and also due to roller lapping.

A. Technical causes

 1. Insufficient twist in yarn
 2. If traveler fly off
 3. Subbing thorough
 4. Stretched roving
 5. Faulty drafting roller setting
 6. Faulty traveler selection
 7. Excessive yarn tension
 8. Improper atmospheric condition

B.
Mechanical Causes

 1. Faulty drafting system
 2. Worn out ring and traveler
 3. Faulty gear and wheels
 4. Worn out top rollers
 5. Faulty apron
 6. Spindle vibration
 7. Eccentric ring
