A wide variety of tool and machine systems are available to strap cartons, eventual choice often being determined by through put and/or cost. Generally the easiest way to strap cartons is with a semi automatic machine that has a cycle time per strap of just over 2.0 seconds. Automatic and automated machines are frequently used for continuous bulk usage. Polypropylene (PP) strapping is an economical packaging solution designed for light to medium duty unitizing, palletizing and bundling.

Polypropylene Strapping on Cardboard or Plastic Core

Polypropylene (PP) strapping is an economical packaging solution designed for light to medium duty unitizing, palletizing and bundling. Polypropylene is embossed to achieve efficient seal joints and superior split resistance.

Good quality strapping offers higher elongation and improved elongation recovery properties to ensure secure packaging for delivery and storage. Polypropylene strapping is wound onto either a cardboard on a plastic core for easy use for semi-automatic machines or hand use with a dispenser. Perfect for stabilizing loads to a pallet and ensuring that a box stays closed.

Polyester Strapping on Cardboard or Plastic Core

Polyester (PET) is one of the strongest plastic strapping, serves as a viable alternative to steel strapping in the brick, lumber and textile industries. Polyester provides excellent retained tension to stay tight on rigid loads. Its excellent recovery properties help a load absorb impact without strap breakage.

PET must stay tight on loads that settle, shrink or expand, Polyester strapping will withstand higher tensioning than other plastic, strapping – up to 25% higher, with equivalent break strengths. It is lightweight, cannot be affected by corrosion or rust and is, therefore, the ideal material to replace steel strap.

Galvanized metal strapping seals easily slide over strapping and can be sealed with either a tension and sealer or a combination tool. To properly grip either heavy-duty goods to polyester (PET) strapping always use seals with serrated inside threads.

Silica Gel Sachets

Protects merchandise from damage caused by moisture by adding a desiccant. Silica gel absorbs atmospheric water and gases into its pores, preventing moisture damage, rust or corrosion damage in products while in storage or transit. Sachets remain dry and free-flowing even when saturated. Ideal for protection of high-end clothing, accessories, leather outerwear which can catch mildew during improper packaging moisture presence.
