All prices are per kilogram in whatever currency is used consistently; the tool has no currency of its own. The annual figure assumes 8,760 hours, which is continuous running - scale it by the real operating hours before quoting it. The good-fibre fraction of waste must come from a Shirley Analyser or equivalent separation, and the whole calculation is only as good as that determination. Downstream consequences of under-cleaning are not modelled: trash left in the lap costs ends down, card wire life and yarn faults, and none of those appear here, so a low waste rate can look economically attractive while being expensive two processes later. Reclaim recovery is the fraction of good fibre in the waste that returns as usable fibre, not the fraction of the waste mass processed.
