HF Weld Energy Density & Seam Peel Strength Predictor

A seam can never be stronger than the cloth it joins. Once peel reaches the fabric ceiling, extra weld energy only degrades the coating.

A linear response with a hard ceiling is a working approximation over the normal welding window; it says nothing about over-welding, which shows as coating degradation, brittleness at the weld edge and eventual burn-through. Where the uncapped figure runs far above the ceiling, the settings are past useful and should come down.
