Sea and Air Freight

Although most orders for garments are placed by buyers on FOB basis, with buyers to pay for freight at the shipping destination, it is still necessary for the shipper or the agent to know how to calculate sea freight and air freight as buyers always need to know how much freight the merchandise cost per dozen. If you are required to sell on CIF basis, (with the shipper to prepay for freight at the shipping port) you will need to calculate the freight accurately for your own costing

Containerization and dispatch of textile goods

Containerization is a system of intermodal freight cargo transport, using standard ISO containers (known as shipping containers or isotainers) that can be loaded and sealed intact onto container ships, railroad cars, planes, and trucks. The introduction of containers resulted in vast improvements in port handling efficiency, thus lowering costs and helping lower freight charges and, in turn, boosting trade flows.

Carton Box Strapping

Plastic Polythene bags

Plastic bags are made from polyethylene. During processing, the polyethylene might be treated with any number of additives. For perfect presentation at the point of sale and protection against dirt and moisture garments are individually packed in a polybag, or multipacks or assorted packs.

Packaging Tape

Packaging tape will stick to most surfaces merely by applying pressure. The tape is made of a coated adhesive, which is backed by a non-sticky materials like paper, foil, fabric, or movie. There are several different grades & types of packaging tape products to suit varying packing demands. Polyethylene plastic tapes or poly tapes, most commonly used for packaging and for sealing light weight carton boxes subject to normal shipping and transport hazards.
