Chemical cost is only part of the switch. C0 systems generally need a higher cure temperature and are less durable to laundering, so re-treatment frequency and stenter energy belong in the same comparison. Regulatory restriction on long-chain fluorochemicals may make this a compliance decision rather than a cost one.
