What an Export Incentive Is Booked At, Against What It Turns Into

The incentive is booked into the price before it is collected, at a value it never reaches. By the time anyone checks, the difference has already been given to the buyer.

What Happens to the Paper

A scrip is not cash. These three are what stand between the credit and the bank account, and they apply to every line on the sheet

Zero if you use it against your own duty rather than selling it

From shipment to the money being usable, not to the credit appearing

What the Order Earns

So the shortfall can be read against something rather than admired on its own

Before the incentive, which is the point — the incentive is not margin until it arrives

The Lines, One Row Each

One row per product and scheme combination, because the cap and the eligible share both move by product and a blended rate across a mixed shipment hides exactly the effect worth seeing. Eligible share is the part of your invoice the rate actually applies to — on a CIF invoice the freight and insurance are not in it. The cap is per unit of the scheme's own quantity, and zero means this line is uncapped rather than unpaid. Never credited is your own history: short credits, claims rejected, and shipping bills that were never marked for the scheme in the first place, which is the commonest of the three and the one nobody counts.
