ISO 16502-2 Furniture — Assessment of the ignitability of mattresses and upholstered bed bases — Part 2: Ignition source: match flame equivalent
One of the pair of mattress ignitability tests: a smouldering cigarette in part 1, a match flame in part 2. A furniture buyer names both, because a furnishing fabric can pass one and fail the other.

What this standard is for
What to watch for
Filed by ICS under 13.220.40, ignitability and burning behaviour, which is a general fire class of 1,629 standards covering plastics, liquids, cables and spacecraft. A sweep of the textile class cannot reach it, and a coverage figure against that class means nothing for textiles - 21 of the 23 standards missing from it are correctly missing.
