Testing & Quality
Converts a measured colour difference on the multifibre adjacent fabric into an ISO 105-A03 grey scale staining grade, and reports the margin against the minimum grade a buyer requires.
Calculator
Testing & Quality
Calculates drape coefficient from a drapemeter shadow area and bending rigidity from a Shirley cantilever overhang, the two objective measures behind fabric handle and garment fall.
Calculator
Testing & Quality
Computes CIE Delta E*ab and the CMC(l:c) colour difference between a standard and a batch from spectrophotometer L*a*b* readings, and judges the result against the commercial tolerance.
Calculator
Testing & Quality
Predicts diaphragm bursting pressure for a knitted fabric from its wale and course tensile strengths using a thin-walled sphere model, and reports the result in kPa, kgf/cm2 and psi.
Calculator
Testing & Quality
Generates the ISO 2859-1 single sampling plan for a garment or fabric lot at General Inspection Level II, returning sample size, acceptance and rejection numbers, and whether the defects found pass the inspection.
Calculator
Testing & Quality
Converts an air permeability reading between metric and imperial units and calculates volumetric porosity from fabric weight, thickness and fibre density, for activewear, filtration and technical textiles.
