Drawing-in machines thread each warp end through its drop wire, heald eye and reed dent in the order a new style requires, while warp tying machines knot the ends of a new warp to those of the exhausted warp still in the loom. Both sit between sizing or beaming and weaving, with tying used when the style does not change. Ends per hour, yarn range and pattern flexibility are compared.
4 models of this class are held. None of them carries its builder's published figures yet - the register knows the machines exist and not what they do.
