ISO 1833-6 Textiles — Quantitative chemical analysis — Part 6: Mixtures of viscose, certain types of cupro, modal or lyocell with certain other fibres (method using formic acid and zinc chloride)

Viscose, cupro, modal or lyocell dissolved in formic acid with zinc chloride, leaving cotton or other fibres. The alternative route to Part 5 for the same difficult separation, and the one that copes with lyocell. The residue is weighed and corrected by the factor d that the standard gives for that fibre in that reagent; the dissolved component is the difference. Identify the fibres by microscopy first - the method assumes you already know which two you have.
