Materials Matter Standard
The consolidated standard the material-specific standards in this family are expected to fold into. A voluntary certification standard, not a test method. Compliance is demonstrated by third-party audit of a site and by transaction certificates following the material through the chain, rather than by a laboratory result on a specimen.

What this standard is for
Why it matters
If it lands as published, it changes what the other eight records here mean, which is why a register that tracks those eight has to track this one too.
What to watch for
A draft on purpose. The publisher gives a Version 1.0, but calls it a pilot, describes it as currently being pilot tested, and puts the effective date at 31 December 2026 with mandatory application from 31 December 2027 - the criteria were released on 12 December 2025, which is not the same as the standard being in force. Kept without an acronym because the publisher never abbreviates it.
