OEKO-TEX LEATHER STANDARD
The counterpart to STANDARD 100 for leather articles and for the leather parts of an article that is otherwise textile. A voluntary certification standard, not a test method. Conformity is demonstrated by testing and audit through OEKO-TEX member institutes, and the certificate is what moves with the goods.

What this standard is for
What to watch for
A mixed article - a fabric shoe with a leather trim, a bag with leather handles - can need both this and STANDARD 100, which is the usual reason a certificate looks incomplete to a buyer. The edition is inside the document and not in its web address. OEKO-TEX serves the current document at a permanent URL, so a link saved in a quality manual quietly starts pointing at a later edition with different limit values. Cite the edition, never just the link.
