What this standard is for
Where it is used
Increasingly named in buyer sustainability programmes and in the evidence behind emissions reporting, alongside the wet-processing energy data mills already collect.
Why it matters
Wet processing is where a textile supply chain spends its energy, and buyers are moving from asking for intentions to asking for a baseline and a trend. A certified system is the difference between having numbers and being able to defend them.
What to watch for
Certification covers the system, not the footprint. It says a mill manages energy deliberately; it does not by itself say the mill is efficient.

- Circular Knitting Specific Energy, Cost per Kilogram & Carbon
- Compact Spinning Suction Airflow, Fan Power & Energy Cost
- Energy Meter Allocation per Good Kilogram or Metre
- Power Factor Correction kVAr Sizing, Demand Saving & Payback
