IDEA is the largest nonwovens exposition in the Americas and the anchor of INDA’s calendar, running on a three-year cycle since 1971. It is a full trade fair: roll goods producers, converting and web-forming machinery, polymers and additives, binders, and the testing houses that qualify the output.
Because of the three-year gap it functions much as ITMA does for machinery — a point at which a cycle of process development is presented at once. Spunlace and spunmelt line capability, sustainability claims on binder chemistry and bio-based fibre content have each been defined at successive editions.
IDEA®27 runs at the Kansas City Convention Center, co-located with INDA’s RISE technology conference.
