Yarn Expo is the yarn and fibre counterpart to Intertextile Shanghai, running in the same halls in the same week — natural and man-made staple, filament, fancy and blended yarns, and the fibre producers upstream of them.
The pairing is deliberate and useful: a fabric buyer walking Intertextile can walk one hall further and meet the spinner. For a mill it is the most concentrated view of Chinese and regional yarn capacity available, and the place where a count and a blend get priced against everyone else offering them.
Like Intertextile it runs twice a year, Autumn and Spring. The Autumn 2026 edition closed on 27 August; the Spring 2027 edition runs 10–12 March.
