ITMA Asia + CITME is the combined show that CEMATEX runs jointly with the China Textile Machinery Association, merging the Asian ITMA with the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition into a single event. It exists because the centre of gravity of textile machinery demand moved to Asia faster than a four-year European cycle could serve, and it now draws exhibitor numbers comparable to the parent show.
For a mill in South or East Asia it is usually the more practical of the two: the builders present are the ones with local service networks, spare parts depots and commissioning engineers within a short flight, which is what actually determines whether a machine can be run at rated output. Chinese builders show at scale here in a way they do not always in Europe.
The 2026 edition is at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
