CAMX — the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo — is the combined annual event of the American Composites Manufacturers Association and SAMPE North America, formed in 2014 by merging their two separate shows. It is the North American meeting point for reinforcement fabrics, prepregs, resins and the processes that consolidate them.
It belongs in a textile calendar because the reinforcement side is textile engineering under another name: woven and non-crimp fabrics, braids, stitched preforms and tow placement all trace directly to weaving, braiding and knitting technology. Fibre volume fraction, drape and crimp behave the way a textile technologist expects them to.
The 2026 edition runs 21–24 September at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
