JEC World is the biggest composites gathering in the world, running at Paris Nord Villepinte. It spans the full chain — carbon and glass reinforcement, resins and prepregs, and the placement, infusion and consolidation processes that turn them into structure.
It belongs in a textile calendar because the reinforcement half of composites is textile engineering under another name. Woven and non-crimp fabrics, braids, stitched preforms and tow-placed skins all behave the way a weaver or braider expects: fibre volume fraction is a cover factor argument, drape is a shear-frame problem, and crimp costs stiffness exactly as it does in a woven cloth.
The 2027 edition runs 2–4 March.
