FILTECH is the largest filtration and separation event in Europe, pairing an exhibition with a substantial peer-reviewed congress. It covers the whole separation problem — filter media, elements and housings, and the solid-liquid and gas-cleaning processes they serve.
The media half is squarely a textile subject. Meltblown and spunbond webs, wetlaid and glass media, needled felts, pleatable composites and electret treatments are all nonwoven engineering, and the questions the congress argues over — efficiency against pressure drop, loading behaviour, the standard test dust a claim was measured with — are the questions that decide whether a specification is honest.
The next edition runs 16–18 November 2027 in Cologne.
