National pavilions
Export councils that have announced a national pavilion at this fair. A pavilion is how a mill or garment maker exhibits under its country's banner; the council is the one to contact about a stand.
- India — TEXPROCIL, 2027 edition council's notice
Heimtextil is the world’s largest fair for home and contract textiles, and by convention the opening event of the textile calendar — held in Frankfurt each January, before the rest of the year’s fairs have started. Bed, bath and table linen, upholstery and decorative fabrics, window coverings, mattresses and sleep systems, and the contract side that supplies hotels and healthcare.
Its influence is out of proportion to the sector because of the Trends area: the colour and material direction set at Heimtextil is read across the interiors trade for the following season, and by the apparel side more often than either admits. For a mill it is where the coming year’s demand for construction, hand and finish becomes visible.
The 2027 edition runs 12–15 January at Messe Frankfurt.
