IGATEX is Pakistan’s principal textile and garment machinery exhibition, held at the Expo Centre in Lahore. Spinning, weaving, knitting, processing and garment technology, alongside dyes, chemicals and accessories.
It matters because of where it sits. Pakistan is one of the largest cotton spinners and home-textile exporters in the world, and its mills replace machinery on a different economic logic from European ones — refurbished and mid-life equipment trades seriously here, and the aftermarket presence is heavier than at the European fairs. For anyone selling into or sourcing from that base, it is the meeting point.
