INDEX is EDANA’s nonwovens exhibition, held at Palexpo in Geneva every three years since 1972 and the largest event of its kind outside the Americas. Roll goods producers, web-forming and bonding machinery, polymers, binders and additives, converting equipment and the testing houses that qualify the output.
The three-year cycle gives it the same character ITMA has for machinery: a span long enough that a generation of process development is presented at once rather than incrementally. Spunlace capability, spunmelt line economics, and the substitution of bio-based and recycled feedstock into established constructions have each had their INDEX.
The 2026 edition closed in May. The next runs 15–18 May 2029.
