Rope washing machine
A rope washing machine washes fabric gathered into a rope that circulates through the wash liquor, giving strong mechanical action at relatively low tension. It suits knitted fabric, wool goods and some woven fabric after dyeing or printing, and differs from the open-width washing range, which keeps fabric flat to avoid creases. Fabric speed, number of ropes and liquor capacity are compared.
