Weft straightener
A weft straightener detects bow and skew in the weft or courses of a fabric with optical sensors and corrects them with driven rollers that bend or tilt the fabric path. It is mounted at the entry of a stenter or other finishing machine so that fabric is set with straight weft or courses. Fabric speed, sensor type and the correction range for bow and skew are compared.
