Dr Mohammad Hatamvand is an educator and researcher in the field of Textile Technologies. He has completed his Master of Science in Textile Technology Engineering and PhD in Textile Technology Engineering from Yazd University.

Mr Mohammad is currently working as a Researcher in Fachhochschule Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany and worked as a Visiting Researcher in the field of Photovoltaic fibers in the University of Borås.

He is currently working on designing and fabricating a super flexible textile solar cells as a new generation of solar cells. It could be used as the power harvesting in smart textiles instead of batteries.

He has published a number of research papers on international journals on various textile topics. Dr Mohammad Hatamvand is interested in the interdisciplinary fields which are combining Nanoscience, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, and Electronics in Textile Engineering.
